Fee Schedule

Below is the fee schedule for counseling sessions with Imei, which was amended on Jan. 1, 2017. The fee was adjusted by $5 per service to reflect the increase in rental fees (in the form of an escalator increase) in 2016. Thank you for your understanding. These fees do not affect those who use insurance to pay for services.

For individuals:

This fee schedule is good until May 17, 2017.

The cost of a 45-50 minute session is $125.

The cost of a 52-60 minute session is $130.

The cost of a 75-90 minute session is $155.

If you received a complimentary consultation of 20-30 minutes, your first session is $130; if you did not, you are billed for the 75-90 minute initial visit.

The new fee schedule reflects the increase in services as well as the anticipated increase in monthly rent we will pay for our space.

For Jan 2017 only,  video conference sessions only (trial basis). In January 2017, I am offering a trial of video conference sessions for those who have never tried counseling via video. Fee schedule  are $60 per 45 minute session, fee-for-service payment via Square Cash; you will pay just prior to the start of the session.

For couples: The cost of a 50 minute couples therapy session is $140. For insurance to reimburse, couples are defined as married unless your insurance plan states otherwise. The cost of a couples therapy session for 90 minutes is $150+

Group Therapy sessions are $50-60* per session (we currently do not have a Group running at this time). You will receive a discount if you pay upfront for all sessions. Cash only, no insurance billed for group therapy (although we can give you an invoice to submit to your insurance for you to try to receive reimbursement).

Relationship Refresh : for new clients only,  purchase and book three counseling appointments, with at least one session solely dedicated to improving your sex life (singles, couples, and people in non-traditional relationship configurations welcome!) for $325. See my article, The Key To Getting The Sex You Want, for the background on this exclusive offer.

Note: Because this offer does not follow health insurance standards for brief-oriented counseling, I cannot use your health insurance. This offer is good to all new clients.

Group therapy: the fee per person is $65 per session, typically conducted in a 10-12 session format.

Coaching:   Select the package that meets that need.

For a package of 10 sessions (approximately 1 hr each session, but sometimes I give you more, depending on what you need), $1500 in a single payment due at the time of the first session. We will create a coaching agreement in writing.  This coaching offer expires March 30, 2016.

You may also purchase coaching sessions at an hourly rate of $175/hr, or prorated on the 15 minute increment.

Coaching packages for the corporate environment, educational institutions, and organizations are coming soon. Presentations, books for each participant, and a complimentary coaching call per audience member can be negotiated. Please contact me directly for more information.

Reports and Legal Documentation: should you need summary reports, evaluation reports, or other legal documentation, the fee for producing these documents for you are $75/hr (prorated on the half hour). After providing any release forms required, I will electronically send your documents. You may use electronic signatures for consent.

How Do I Pay?

Payment is preferred by cash or check.

I also accept payment through Square for credit card transactions (MC, Visa, Discover). If you are unable to afford payment on the counseling session cost, we can discuss a negotiated, time-limited reduction to $80 per session based on your situation. For more information on how to pay for your visits, please read this post.

At this time, Imei accepts a limited number of insurance companies: Premera, Regence, First Choice Health. Out of network (OON) plans may be billed by the client; the necessary paperwork can be provided to the client to pursue reimbursement, but your payment in full is due at the time of service. See our FAQs page for more information.
