Below is the fee schedule for counseling sessions with Imei, which was amended on Sept 19, 2018 for the remaining 2018 calendar year.
As you have likely heard, the 2018 tax changes have a profound on small business owners. While I was hoping to decrease fees for 2018, health insurance valuations for the various timed codes (30min, 45min, up to 60min) have increased for the first time in five years. SDC will also adjust to reflect the new changes that begin July 1, 2018.
SDC continues to maintain a space in the SODO area (South of what was the Kingdome, now Century Link Field) for non-clinical use, while day-to-day counseling sessions are conducted online from a home office in Redmond, WA (licensing and liability coverage for this use).
This fee schedule is good until July 1, 2018, when the new fee schedule goes into effect.
The cost of a 45 minute session is $135.00
The cost of a 52-60 minute session is $150.00
The cost of a 80-85 minute session is $175.00
If you received a complimentary consultation of 20-30 minutes, your first session is for the cost of the session according to the fee schedule above; if you did not, you are billed for the 80-85 minute initial visit.
For couples: The cost of a 50+ minute couples therapy session is $165 . For insurance to reimburse under a conjoint session visit, couples are defined as married unless your insurance plan states otherwise. The cost of a couples therapy session for 90 minutes is $185.00.
Group Therapy sessions are $50-60* per session (we currently do not have a Group running at this time). You will receive a discount if you pay upfront for all sessions. Cash only, no insurance billed for group therapy (although we can give you an invoice to submit to your insurance for you to try to receive reimbursement).
Relationship Refresh : (please inquire) for new clients only, purchase and book three counseling appointments, with at least one session solely dedicated to improving your sex life (singles, couples, and people in non-traditional relationship configurations welcome!) for $325. See my article, The Key To Getting The Sex You Want, for the background on this exclusive offer.
Note: Because this offer does not follow health insurance standards for brief-oriented counseling, I cannot use your health insurance. This offer is good to all new clients.
Coaching: Select the package that meets that need.
For a package of 10 sessions (approximately 1 hr each session, but sometimes I give you more, depending on what you need), $1500 in a single payment due at the time of the first session. We will create a coaching agreement in writing. (This coaching package is available in 2018 in February and expires by August 2018, giving you six months to use 10 coaching sessions)
You may also purchase coaching sessions at an hourly rate of $175/hr, or prorated on the 15 minute increment.
Coaching packages for the corporate environment, educational institutions, and organizations are coming soon. Presentations, books for each participant, and a complimentary coaching call per audience member can be negotiated. Please contact me directly for more information.
Reports and Legal Documentation: should you need summary reports, evaluation reports, or other legal documentation, the fee for producing these documents for you are $75/hr (prorated on the half hour). After providing any release forms required, I will electronically send your documents. You may use electronic signatures for consent.
How Do I Pay?
Payment is preferred by cash or check.
I also accept payment through Square for credit card transactions (MC, Visa, Discover). If you are unable to afford payment on the counseling session cost, we can discuss a negotiated, time-limited reduction to $80 per session based on your situation. For more information on how to pay for your visits, please read this post.
At this time, Imei accepts a limited number of insurance companies: Premera, Regence, First Choice Health. Out of network (OON) plans may be billed by the client; the necessary paperwork can be provided to the client to pursue reimbursement, but your payment in full is due at the time of service. See our FAQs page for more information.
