Two Years in Two Hours

Two Years in Two Hours
by Imei Hsu, RN, LMHC, Artist

I am stunned how quickly it happened.

Allie and I moved the office furniture of Suite 390 into Suite 364 in less than two hours, with the help of Paul and Michael. In under two hours, my two years in the small but sheltered womb of an enclosed office space moved fifty feet across a hallway to a space over twice its size, with two large windows full of natural light, and now an additional couch, which gives our clients a fresh sense of co-creation in any counseling or coaching session of their imagination.

In the next weeks, we’ll be adding water service, additional shelving, an iPod listening center, a resource book shelf, and other cool features to this spacious office. We know you’re going to love it!

But pivotal to the move of offices is the move from a solo practice to one with clinical supervision and Associate. I am so proud to welcome my partner in crime therapy, Allie Bulliman. You can read all about her on her page, but here we are, just moments after moving into our new space.

Imei and Allie, therapists in the Seattle Direct Counseling space Suite 364

We couldn’t have completed our move without the help of Paul and Michael. Our express thanks to both of them for helping us get the couches in, the wall hangings removed from Suite 390, and the front window properly covered to provide a safe and confidential waiting room for our current and future clients. You guys rawk!

Two years in the Grand Central Building in Pioneer Square have flown by, and I imagine two more years will zip by just as quickly. Our new space has room to run a large group, and in conjunction with Atta Dawahare of Union Therapy just next door, I’m sure we’ll be providing awesome professional services to people that Seattle will welcome.

Thank you so much for your love and support. More than ever, we appreciate your hard work, your support, your referrals and positive reviews of our work on all the Social Media Channels, and your amazing words of encouragement and love. Donations of Kleenex and coffee are always welcome!
